Spawn 3 Liter Sawdust
The wood flour spawn is effective for grafting stumps or thicker logs.
For a stump, you can saw off a disk and place the spawn between the stump and the disk, now the mycelium has the entire surface of the saw cut to soak into the wood.
Advantages of wood flour spawn:
- The spawn is already accustomed to a base of wood substrate.
- When grown on beds, it attracts fewer pests than rye spawn.
Species suitable for growing on beds are:
- Blue plate Stropharia (look HERE for growing instructions)
- Nameko (in containers)
